Hi there. My name is Eve. I’m passionate about art, design, history and in particular vintage costume jewelry – I even wrote a book on the subject! If you’re visiting my site, there’s a good chance you have a love of vintage too.

For me, vintage costume jewelry acts as a porthole to the past. A sparkly material memory that can evoke a connection to the original owner who wore it, to the designer who crafted it, and to the shop that sold it. Though I adore the cachet of a vintage bauble, I’m equally interested in its ability to provide context and insight into the fashions, politics, social and economic circumstances of the time in which it was made.
